On Monday, October 17th, Urban Alliance participated in the My Brother’s Keeper (MBK) Alliance “What Works Showcase” hosted by the White House. UA was invited to be featured alongside 32 of the nation’s premiere organizations and interventions with rigorous evidence of impact across MBK’s cradle-to-career goals. The event showcased organizations that have data-driven programs that impact boys and young men of color to measurably improve lives. Our own DC Alumnus Andre Williams ’11 joined a panel of notable speakers to share his personal experience through the Urban Alliance High School Internship Program and through Alumni Services.
