Abiodun Durojaye, Ed.D is the Chief Executive Officer of Urban Alliance, a non-profit headquartered in Washington, D.C. building a diverse next-generation workforce by providing job skills training, mentoring, pre-apprenticeships and paid internships to high school youth and young adults from underserved communities so that they may live a life of economic independence and upward mobility.
Prior to her appointment as CEO, Durojaye served as the Executive Director of Urban Alliance Chicago. Her time at Urban Alliance was preceded by her role as the Executive Director of the Career Bridge Department at National Louis University where she supported the launch of a Career Readiness Endorsement program that focuses on building students’ confidence and soft skills prior to graduation.
Durojaye holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, and a Master’s degree in African Studies, both from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign, and a Doctoral degree in Interdisciplinary Leadership from Governors State University.

Her life’s work has centered on breaking down barriers that impede young people from achieving their full potential. Durojaye is the recipient of many awards including the New Roseland Community 2023 Trailblazer Award, Young Nonprofit Professionals Network 2023 Supervisor of the Year Award, and the 2020 Indiana INTERNnet IMPACT Award for College Career Development Professional of the Year.
