Makiah Watson is an Internship Program Lead at Urban Alliance Chicago. She is an alumnus of Urban Alliance, completing an internship with the Obama Foundation in 2017, and serves on the Urban Alliance Chicago Alumni Advisory Board.

Watson holds a Bachelor and Master of Science in Human Development and Family Sciences from Illinois State University and is provisionally certified as a Family Life Educator. She has a background in collegiate holistic, academic and career advising and is passionate about serving youth and empowering them to reach their definitions of success and beyond.
