On Friday, June 28, Urban Alliance Baltimore interns participated in a day-long professional development program. Hosted by CareFirst and organized by Break a Difference, the program included mock interviews and LinkedIn Profile Building sessions.
In the morning, interns engaged in mock job interviews with volunteers who represented numerous companies in Baltimore. This experience helped our students to hone skills they have been developing, receive constructive feedback and networking opportunities.
The afternoon session focused on translating their work and life experiences into polished LinkedIn profiles, to help them establish a professional profile and begin building a network of connections that will help them as they pursue their career pathways.
We are grateful for our partners for the commitment they have to build a diverse talent pipeline and support our students on their career exploration journeys.
