Megan Berger

Internship Program Lead, Chicago

Megan Berger is an Internship Program Lead for Urban Alliance Chicago.

Prior to joining Urban Alliance Chicago, Berger was a Program Coordinator for Youth & Opportunity United, where she had worked part-time as a Youth Worker and intern while in school, providing enrichment activities and social emotional learning for middle school students in an afterschool program and summer program.

Berger holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from Northeastern Illinois University with a focus on Child advocacy. While a student at Northeastern Illinois University, she was part of the Social Justice Leadership program where she lived in a learning community that practiced mutual aid and civic engagement, and served as a mentor for refugee students who were coming from Afghanistan and transitioning into the American university setting.
