Kaiser Permanente, one of the country’s leading health care providers and an Urban Alliance job partner for our Economic Club of Washington, D.C. internship program, has now expanded their commitment to increasing economic opportunity for underserved youth. The company has signed on to sponsor 15 new internships in the region this summer. The six-week placements will be split between ten new high school graduates who have completed UA’s job skills training curriculum and five alumni of the region’s High School Internship Program. The partnership will kick off with a celebration on June 18, and students will begin work on June 25.
