Haben is the Controller for Urban Alliance and has been working in not-for-profit accounting for over a decade. As a former associate of Marcum, LLP, Haben has experience supporting several non-profit organizations in areas of budgeting, grant oversight/management, financial reporting, and IC improvements. Haben holds a B.A. in Accounting from Arcadia University, with a minor in Art History and an M.A. in International Development, with a concentration in Diaspora/Community Engagement. Haben has a passion for youth development and empowerment having previously worked for the International Rescue Committee in their youth department and helped found the Eritrean Youth Mentorship Program.
