LaShonda Boldon
National Director of Highschool Programs
LaShonda joined Urban Alliance Baltimore in February 2019, where she served students as the Program Coordinator before being promoted to Program Manager and later to the Program Director. LaShonda also had the opportunity to work alongside the Executive Director as the Senior Director of Programs & Partnerships, assisting with job securement and fundraising to increase opportunities for young people in Baltimore. In June 2024, LaShonda transitioned to the national team, where she currently serves as the National Director of High School Programs. LaShonda has an extensive background in the human services field, where she worked as a Family Advocate in North Carolina before moving to Maryland to conduct compliance work with the State of Maryland Department of Juvenile Services. She came to Urban Alliance after serving as a Family Advocate in Baltimore. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Fayetteville State University and a master’s degree in human services from Capella University.
As the National Director of High School Programs, LaShonda is committed to carrying out the mission and goals of the organization and ensuring that our high school programs are innovative, strategic, and aligned, while supporting regional program staff.
