Parie Kadir serves as the College and Career Services Manager for the Greater DC Region. After a career working for nonprofit groups, with a focus on human rights and mental health, Parie spent several years working in public education as a high school teacher. Her time as a teacher solidified her belief in the transformative powers of effective public education.

A lifelong advocate for social and economic equity, Parie is dedicated to empowering today’s youth with tangible pathways towards economic independence. As a first-generation college graduate, Parie maintains an MA degree in Gender, Globalization and Human Rights along with dual BA degrees in Government and International Politics and Economics.  

Outside of work, Parie is an avid reader who also loves music, travel and spending quality time with her beautiful family and friends.
